The way she walks

Halo!

I’ve just looked thought the book on academicals drawing (Bammes)… One of the things I find particularly interesting that body has a centre of balance that it uses rather cleverly to facilitate the movement. Notice how we start walking. You lean forward àthe body is of the balance (the centre of balance shifts forward) à and you are forced to make a step or you fall on your face.

*?* Hey, has anyone ever broken a hand? Does it affect the way your body balances the movements?

Im not sure if this is a "true" effect on the body after injury, but my Brother broke his arm when he was quite young, and as I recall he moved with a pronounced gait, which is to say as he walked it looked as though his body swung in such a way as to protect the left side of his body (with the broken arm) and let the right take the brunt of any fall.
